Do participants need to fundraise?

Tough Nutter has set a goal to raise $100,000 for the SickKids Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Program in hopes of finding a cure for allergies. Every participant is encouraged to fundraise to help us reach this goal!

My child has fundraised $x, now what?

Every participant who fundraises money for the SickKids Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Program will receive a prize courtesy of Spin Master based on the amount raised! Head over to the Spin Master fundraising station to redeem a toy!

When is my child's run time?

10:30 AM: Kindergarten - Grade 1

11:00 AM: Grade 2 - 3

11:30 AM: Grade 4 - 5

12:00 PM: Grade 6 - 8

There will be ten minute warm ups before each run so please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the participants' race time!

Can I walk alongside my child while they run through the course?

Parents are welcome to walk alongside their children as they run through the course as long as they remain on the outside of the flagged off area.
Additionally, course marshals will be positioned along the course in order to ensure all participants stay on the correct path.

Will there be food on site?

Yes! Upon check in, each participant will receive a wristband that entitles them to a complimentary lunch. This lunch includes their choice of a hot dog, hamburger or veggie burger, a bag of chips and an ice tea, lemonade or water.

Families of participants are welcome purchase lunch at Tough Nutter as well for just $10 per person!

What is included with registration?

Each participant who is registered for Tough Nutter is permitted to run once through our obstacle course at a specific time dependant on their grade.

​

Our one course can be run at three different difficulty levels:

​

Green: Beginner (Recommended for Kindergarten - Grade 1)

Yellow: Intermediate (Recommended for Grades 2 - Grade 5)

Red: Advanced (Recommended for Grades 6 - Grade 8)

Parking

Free Tough Nutter parking is located on the north side of Camp Robin Hood off of Reesor Road. 

​

Parking signage will be visible from Reesor Road.
